Former Country manager CCVS-Uganda
Lieve Milissen obtained her Masters in Economy at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and her Masters in Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is the former country manager of CCVS-Uganda. Having lived in Uganda from 2005 until 2011, Lieve has been in a privileged position to work as a psychologist with war-affected and traumatized children and adults from Northern Uganda. She wrote a thesis covering the psychosocial well-being of former abductees (girls) of the LRA-bush war (2008, start of peace talks), based on local in-depth interviews with these girls.
