The Centre for Children in Vulnerable Situations (CCVS)-Uganda would like to invite you to attend its dissemination webinar. The content of the webinar shall be in line with the previously planned workshops earlier this year (March 31 and April 2, 2020), which were demobilized because of the COVID-19 lockdown in Uganda.

CCVS Sensitization Initiative 2017

Every year, Centre for Children in Vulnerable Situations (CCVS) organizes a sensitization initiative focusing on a topic related to the wellbeing of children, youth and adults living in vulnerable situations in the South. This year, we will discuss the influence of culture and context on mental health and mental health support. To enhance the exchange of knowledge and good practices, the team from our practice centre in Northern Uganda will present and facilitate this year's discussion. More information can be found in the flyer. Entrance is free but registration is required. A detailed programme will be added in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming you!

Local workshop Kampala, Uganda

On the 23th of January 2017, CCVS-Uganda will be organizing a dissemination workshop at the Belgian Embassy in Kampala. During this workshop, various research topics will be presented such as the impact of war on the upbringing of children, growing up in a refugee camp, drug and alcohol abuse, etc.

Networking event

On the 20th of January 2017, CCVS-Uganda will organize a networking event in cooperation with Lira NGO Forum and Lira District Local Government. The networking event aims to bring together different organizations and institutions working in the psychosocial field.
